Nineteen professional BBQ teams headed to Moultrie Georgia on December 1, 2018 for the 6th Annual Moultrie Moose Lodge #1158 BBQ Cook-off.  This marked the sixth GBA sanctioned contest of the season.

Bite My Butt claimed their first GBA Grand Championship and won the rib category. They also finished 15th in loin and 6th in pork.  This victory was especially sweet for the team from Donalsonville, Georgia after suffering major damage to their business last month during Hurricane Michael.  Off the Chain added a Reserve Grand Championship to their resume by finishing 4th in loin, 1st in pulled pork, and 7th in ribs.

Weekend Warriors won the loin category, followed by Fire in the Hole and Smoke ‘em Low

The top three finishers in the Pork category were Off the Chain, Peach Coast BBQ, and Holy Smokes.  Holy Smokes was awarded the only 600 score of the day for their preliminary entry.

Bite My Butt prevailed in the rib category, with Blue Diablo taking second, and Flying Pig claiming third place.
