Smokin’ J’s Wins First Grand at Cadence Fair
Woodstock, GA – Doug and Joann Johnson of Smokin’ J’s BBQ claimed their first Grand Championship with their winning Ribs entry at the Cadence Fair BBQ competion.
Grand Champion – Smokin’ J’s BBQ
We Want Que made finals in both Loin and Ribs along with 11th in Pulled Pork to take home the Reserve Grand Championship.
Reserve Grand Champion – We Want Que
Southern Hogs won the Loin category; followed by We Want Que in 2nd and Smokin the Good Stuff in 3rd place. In Pulled Pork, Rescue Smokers took top honors. Smokin the Good Stuff was runner-up with Just Blowing Smoke in third. Smokin’ J’s BBQ was 1st in Ribs with If You Smoke It They Will Come taking 2nd and We Want Que rounding out the top three.
