Perry, GA – The Pigs and Wings BBQ Competition announces they will sponsor a Georgia Barbecue Association (GBA) juges training class on Saturday, Feburary 18, 2012 at the airport in Perry, GA. Sign in will begin at 2:30 PM with the class starting at 3:00 PM. The fee for the class is $15.00 per person plus GBA membership of $35 per person or $50 per family. Those who are already GBA members who wish to take the class will only pay the $15.00 class fee.
Upon completion of the class, trainees will able to judge in the Pigs and Wings cookoff the following weekend as well as all other GBA sanctioned cookoffs. After judging in two (2) contests during the year, new judges will be fully certified and be issued an official GBA judge ID badge.

Unfortunately, I will be out of town this weekend. Can you tell me when the next Judge Training Class will be held. I would love to take the class.

There are not any other classes that have confirmed a date. Keep checking the website. In fact, you can sign up for email alerts on the homepage that will let you know when new announcements are posted here.

I would like to attend the Judge Training Class on Saturday. Anything that I have to do, other than show up at the Perry Airport at 2:30 Saturday with check in hand?
