Welcome to the GBA

The Georgia Barbecue Association is the South’s newest up and coming barbecue competition sanctioning organization. Since some of the best barbecue cooks are right here in the State of Georgia, the GBA was conceived by a handful of individuals who thought it was time to let the rest of the nation know that the best barbecue comes out of the South. The Georgia Barbecue Association has quickly grown to over 200 members, 100+ certified judges and over 80 competition cook teams. Those numbers continue to grow. We invite you to join the GBA and become a part of the new wave of barbecue competitions.
